2 layouts to share!!!! i know its been a long time!!!!

hi ladies!!! YES i am still here.... JUST been soooo busy lately and have had NO motivation to scrap what so ever....
 BUT i was lucky enough to go to the handmade by suzanne retreat on saturday (i could only go for the day!) and had a ball! was heaps of fun and finished one layout and started another (yes i am a very slow scrapper!!).
I ended up doing the sketch challenge ..... and lucky me won (THANKS LADIES!!! and a big thanks to suzanne for the very generous prize, i got the entire collection of Echo Park This & That Girls range!!!) (maybe i do have some mojo??)!!! yay!!! i used some papers I have been hanging out to use for ages but hadnt had a chance to order them online.... Echo Park This & That (Boys Range, treesa used them and loved what she did with them!!!) cause Suzanne has her shop there so spent a little bit of $$$ on new papers etc.....
so here is the layout its based on nadias sketch at HBS for May.

Also i finished this layout up today..... this is for Scrap the Girls. Had the best photos of me and my sister printed and Maralize was asking who was joining in this month with the challenge so told her I was!! just had to get the layout together. I actually changed this completely to what i initially started with!! ah ha ha i do that a lot!!
so here it is.
have used Crate Paper Storyteller (which i also brought on the day!!) love it... i love the colours!!!

So must go and cook some tea. My little ones are getting a bit hungry and my hubby is sick so must go see how he is going!!!

My 1st CSI case file for DT!!! CSI#18

Well lucky me got some amazing news about 2 weeks ago that I made the DT over at Color Stories Inspiration!!!!!! I am so happy to be part of this AMAZING group of talanted girls. I love the challenges set there and could not wait to start creating!!!

So my first layout as DT.... its for CSI #18. I loved the colours... for some reason I always seem to do layouts of my little boy with them??? bizarre but thats ok cause I must scrap his photos too!
With the case files there are other critera as well.
So i have chosen FLOWERS.... and LEAVES.... and Tissue paper .... and you cant actually see it in the photo much but have glammmed up the butterflies with GlimmerGlam so they are sparkley and blinged!!
Also there is the Story part to do... so I have chosen to Journal about the growth of something or someone and its how i want my little man to be when he gets older. I want him to always have respect, be honest and follow his dreams.
I have used a mix of papers here... Prima, 7gypsies, Kaiser and Pink Paislee and inked them with old paper and tea stain to colour them a tad.
I love the end result...

My Scrapbook Nook - SHORTLIST i made it!! yay

well lucky me made the shortlist for My Scrapbook Nook DT!!! so now Leah has a extremely hard decision to cut the list down even further!!! the ladies who made the short list are oh so absolutely talented. i can not believe my name was on the list....

so during this week we have been active in the forum on "getting to know us" .... and one of the girls has put up some inspiration for us to make a layout on... while we wait for the news.

i took the drops of paint and the overall composition for my inspiration as they are not normally my colours BUT i do love paint and drip and drops!!!! . :) :)

hey all you lovely people!!!

well another fortnight has been and gone and Get Picky have their new sketch up on the blog.

Its a great sketch and you should head on over and check out the inspiration from all the other girls on the DT!!! Their layouts are stunning!!

so here is my take on the sketch, when i first seen it i was a lil stumped but then got into it and LOVED it. it worked so well!!

I have used Glitz (LOVE!) pretty in pink papers and prima flower vine. Its just of me n my hubby, love him to bits. and love the Glitz transparency which i have used for my title.
